Note: Samsung Led Battens often output nearly 50% more Lumens (light) than some other less advanced Led lights of a similar size.
Our Light Output is a White Daylight D50 (5000Kelvin) as per BSI/ISO 3664:2009 Standards not the Blue White D65(6500Kelvin).

The three main reasons to use sensors and controls that fit  on our LED battens are;

  1. A) Conservation - to reduce carbon emissions and meet environmental challenges.
  2. B) Cost-savings - further reduce energy usage even further, which can lead to larger cost savings.
  3. C) Compliance - with UK building regulations 2013 where even more efficiencies are being required, and we expect further pressure for even more efficiencies will continue.

Our standard MMS (microwave motion sensor) MC028V which fits into all our LED battens has an on/off switch, automatic dimmer function; with a built in adjustable daylight sensor and it is effective over a wide range of up to 16 metres.

The MMS main function is occupancy detection using the Doppler Effect to sense anybody or vehicle, but ours also monitor and react to ambient daylight levels. The presence detection results in LED battens coming on or brightens automatically when someone or something enters the sensors range and extinguishes or dims automatically after the space had been unoccupied for a set time.

We offer this battery backup option in most of our LED battens, which are perfect for emergency lighting as their very low power consumption allows a much longer support time i.e.3 hours for any given battery than a fluorescent batten.

Generally larger buildings should include emergency lighting to keep the premises illuminated in case of power outages. The emergency lighting operates separately to the mains lighting supply and includes batteries that keep the emergency LED battens on when the main supply fails. It then automatically comes on, allowing the premises occupants to react in a safe and appropriate way to the situation.

Note: It is crucial that the emergency luminaries are inspected regularly to ensure that they are always in perfect working order.

Lojer LED Lighting supply maintained versions – where the led battens operate as normal lighting, but the lights do not go off after the mains supply fails.

Simple to fit this IP66 photocell will switch a row of Led Battens on and off, at an adjustable set lighting level between 30 to 300 Lux. Dimensions 75 x 60 x 37mm

Our electromechanical time switches are simple & robust, with 20amp switches that are ideal for the switching in Led lighting applications- up to three times a day. The day omit feature means you can skip any day of the week if necessary. There is also a manual override button for your convenience. It is a fit-and-forget time clock.

These are adjustable steel wire that fit in to the back of our Led Battens with a clip, and are adjustable up to a length of 1.3 metres.
